So this is what it’s like to create and live a dream job.

I’m a workplace scientist in my fifth year of running an executive coaching and leadership consulting practice. It’s grown into ongoing opportunities with organizations across technology, consumer goods, beauty, financial services, and agriculture. I really do get to partner in ways I always dreamed of—as a long-term extension of the leaders I serve.

What I believe

Everyone is powerfully and differently talented. Most people never learn to name their patterns, drive, or instincts, let alone use them well.

I was put on this earth to make meaningful work more accessible for more people. That mission, and my enduring belief in talent, come to life in creative interventions from a Fortune-level leadership accelerator to a strengths-based parenting course I built and teach on weekend retreats.

How I work

The trust and exchange of ideas built over time with each organization is exactly why I get to do highly custom work with clients who are genuinely hard to please.

I built this practice to stay a practice, not to grow into a firm. That’s on purpose. You get me directly. And if I’m ever not the right fit, or not available, you get someone from the small group of independent consultants I trust enough to hire for my own clients. Either way, you’re getting a partner to journey alongside you, not an organization looking to upsell you what they already offer.

What that’s looked like

A technology company asked me to build a women’s cohort program from nothing. It transformed their culture, and they invited me to expand it globally. A consumer goods company engaged me to build a year-long mastermind for their most poachable talent, then expanded it to recurring experiences with other levels across North America. A regional financial institution has partnered with me for years as a provider of custom leadership development for their entire organization.

All of this work goes deeper than your typical consulting firm can. Yes, I introduce cutting-edge leadership concepts. But because I can stick around as a local presence, I also build, test, and deploy solutions for embedment and adoption. Simply put, I don’t just point out the opportunity—clients trust me enough to bring me back for the harder, more custom work that becomes part of the culture.

My fortunate backstory

I spent my professional formative years at Gallup, where I built and led their Global Strengths Coach certification program and co-hosted their Theme Thursday podcast. I hold an M.Ed and I’m a PCC-credentialed coach through ICF. I grew up in a small town where I learned to be a present member of the community and a scrappy user of available resources. I’ve worked and lived abroad, and am currently raising two very cool kids with my husband in Nebraska.

Where I focus

Discover your strengths. Build your partnerships. Expand your potential. Those three things haven’t changed since I started this practice. What has changed is that I now have years of client relationships proving they work, not just a strong belief about why they should.
